I have a 2005 430 coupe and would love to figure out the stereo unit in the car.

There's a few threads on this but most have dead links.

Does anyone have a PDF copy of this stereo they could help me with?

    Much appreciated.

    Rob

Or I believe the Becker Cascade 7944 has the same user manual?

Good luck with that! Hope you have a lot of patience also!!

I took out the really crappy OEM Becker in my 360 and put this one in. Got if from Becker and I can't switch the voice control from German to English. Nav is in English but Bluetooth and everything else is German...mean angry German at that...Becker can't explain it...

I did it strictly for the updated look and CD player as the OEM one looked like a Kraco unit from Kmart!

Youd never throw away or sell the original though, too precious if ever selling the car on. I have an old Porsche and the factory cassette player in that is truly retro (although not bad sound).

My PDF is the same as Wally's 7944. The manual is as confusing as the radio itself. Designing the radio must have been by the B-team.

Hi, I have found a 6112 to replace my non working 6104 in my 360 but the navigation CD and the small CF navigation card are both missing.
Do I need both for the navigation to work or just one of the items? Are they the same thing?
    Many thanks.

The navigation card is used for initial setup if the radio is reset and didn't come with the radio unless you purchase Nav from the factory, so don't factory reset the unit unless you have access to the card or like the radio in German (ask me how I know). The disk is used as part of the setup process as well as reloading announcement and bluetooth language after power on when you disconnect the battery (but you can ignore the message to insert it when you are prompted).

Note: You do not need to keep the CF Card in once radio reset is complete. So if you do have that issue find someone local with a card who will let you borrow it for about 5 minutes.

Hi Corey, thank you so much for that it really helps.
I'm also trying to source the instructions booklet as well and believe it's the same as the Becker 7944 which I have found here on F Chat. All I need now is the radio code.
    Thanks again:)

So I received the 6112 unit yesterday and the original Ferrari CF card v3.0 was inside the unit which is great.
Is it only one System CD for this unit to set it up for the languages and voice commands etc? I see Becker radios that have 3 or 4 CDs to load up for some reason and does it have to be a V3.0 as the CF card or can it be newer?

    Many thanks as always.

You will need any System CD version 3.x with the 3.0 card, you cannot use the 4.x System CD without a 4.x card.

Just don’t get the ferrari branded GPS antenna. I paid the “ferrari tax” For a $200 antenna and all it has is a sticker on the wire that says Ferrari. I’m guessing a $20 eBay GPS antenna would have worked. In my defense I’m trying to go all OEM on my car (other than my exhaust, though I have the original in a box).

As Corey mentioned about the CD.
The GPS antenna I bought off eBay works fine. Just make sure it has the correct plug.
As I’ve mentioned before, I placed mine under the instrument binnacle using Velcro. You can get to the factory location from the drivers footwell.
