355, bought mine with 20 some k and sold it with 37k 2 years later. Did the major and regular fluids that was it. I did buy a car that had the headers and valves done already. Only hiccup was replacing an alternator in Duschene Utah...ended up being a great story and I met some wonderful people. So even in the bad times the car was great and less hassle than my 348 which I took to 80+k miles. I miss that car sometimes. It's for sale on ebay right now....hmmmmm...blk/blk with 41k from san carlos. It now has different wheels, which I don't really care for.
+1 And... don't let the scare stories put you off the 355. I had mine for 5 years, drove it constantly, serviced it as per the book (but using specialists) and loved every mile in it. I would go as far as to say that it was probably the best high performance car I've ever owned (IMHO). The potential issues with the 355 are very well known - it is a 15 year old car now, so you know what you are getting into. Just make sure you do your homework, and pick a good, well used, well documented, well maintained car and you will be fine. Oh - and make sure you check the fuel hoses... they have a bit of a tendency to perish and split which can make life a bit toasty to say the least.
