    I'm hoping to get some suggestions about how to firm up my bed without buying another mattress. I wokeup friday morning alittle stiff and after my shower could barely bend over or put my pants on and I'm still stiff and in pain. Does the plywood between the mattresses work?

    Yes. Plywood on top for even firmer. ;) But if your mattress is totally shot,... it'll only do so much.

    To test, put your mattress directly on the floor. That's as firm as it'll ever be.

    I do realize my issue is two part if not three part. First would be the bed, second would be my lack of exercise and thirdly the degenerative disc I have but I find it very odd how quickly it can change?

    I love it how you guys and gals keep me laughing, good medicine ;) .

    Plus the Vicodin :D. I better explain. I still have 26 out of 30 that I recieved when I was battling that Gout issue a month ago, I'm not addicted.
