    Yes it is still 11:30, weather permitting. Like Barabus I also do not like to take the car out if it's lobbing it down. Don't mind being caught in a shower, but will not start off in the rain.

    Meting point will posted mid-week.

    There is a chance of me not making it.

    Sold my car yesterday so i hope to make use of weekend time in looking for a new car.

    This will all depend on if I can find a car or 2.

    I think the east had the bad weather.

    At 11.30am we had blue sky, so I was expecting you to have a great meet.

    Roll on the next (dry) one.

    OK guys, how about this for a plan. I realise that whatever date I choose will not be good for everybody, and I am also still keen to get this organised sooner rather than later.

    So, I propose this Sunday, October 24th if it's dry. If it's raining then we will cancel once more and try again on Sunday, October 31st.

    Same details as before, 11:30 meet, drive for about an hour, then stop in a pub for a drink and a bite to eat.

    As before, please post in you can make it as we really need at least 4 F-cars to make this worth while.

    Hi Nigel hopefully we will get this one going I am up for the 24th but can't make the 31st as I am at Bruntingthorpe on a track day.

    So lets hope we get some dry weather Sunday

    I am not available on the 24th as I am out of the area all weekend (and annoyingly not being able to find a car).

    I will continue to be an 'iffy' person for a while (hopefully not too long) while I look for a car.

    The forecast says it will chuck it down all day Saturday, and heavy showers on Sunday.

    With this is mind we may as well cancel 24th now and hope for some dry weather on the 31st.

    Its a shame as i can't make sunday as I am at Bruntingthorpe. I will try and make the next one. Hopefully we can get enough people to make it a regular event.

    Guys,

    So sorry for cancelling this prematurely. I just did the ride out on my own, the weather is simply glorious.

    The pub has changed hands since I was last there, and it was fairly busy. They advised me to book for next week. Hope lots of you can make it.
