This meeting is ON today. The weather is good, the sun is out and the roads are dry. 11:30 meet just to the east of Bedford.

Thanks to Simon (Barabus) and Neil (355yel) for showing up today for the inaugural meeting. It was quite an eventful one. First off, the road to the meeting point was closed and we sat in a queue for 45 minutes hardly moving. We eventually decided to divert to a different location before meeting up with Neil.

Then, whilst travelling on a wonderful B road, myself in front followed by the Testarossa and 355, a Golf GTI went flying past us in the opposite direction, absolute nutter. I went round a couple more corners followed by the Testa, but no 355. We stopped and turned around, and headed back to find the Golf had lost it, spinning off the road just one or two seconds behind the 355. A couple of seconds either way and it could have been very tragic.

The afternoon was slightly dampened, but we headed off once more and had a nice pub lunch and a good chat.

Will do it again next spring when the better weather returns.
