It was a cloudy cold day, but cockpit fever was setting in and I just had to get out before the next tempête de neige.

Went over to Gary's shop for a quick detail. The car may not have been a sow's ear, but he sure has turned it into a silk purse. Thanks Beaux Art Detailing!

Wonderful!

Would like to see the snow cease and desist though...

I bet that hill you're perched up on now was a nightmare, even for the daily driver.

How's the house coming?

House is ~85% finished. Now rebuilding the retaining wall, and then putting in a nice aggregate concrete driveway. No more gravel to wash down the street!

Without a 4 wheel drive vehicle, we're stuck up here 'til the snow melts completely off the road.

Pfff...the old 355 can't cope? Or are you just scared?

:D

Seriously though...that sucks. Although you do have quite the place (and view) to be snowed in, if I do say say so...

And hurry up with that driveway so we can have a PARTY!

Too funny... Hey, I put the "silk purse" on that car 2 months ago. Still looking great...

Matt: On the last "Cars and Coffee" run, on Feb. 6th, I was wondering if the "ol' 355' would get up the wet, cold streets that led up the hill. Man, that machine climbed up there without missing a beat or spinning a wheel. Ferrari did right with the 355, that's for sure... it's even a hillclimber!

Glad you stopped by today C'dubs, after restoring a trashed Mercedes this week to it's former glory it sure was nice to have a quality car in the shop again. Thank you.

Got to get the driveway finished first so nobody has to bring chock blocks and park their cars on the hill!

THAT’S LOW.

She’s hurt, Crawford. She can't help it that her handbrake doesn't work in the winter.

Look: she’s frowning at you.

At least the headlamp isn't falling out Matt...

Don't feel bad, have you ever seen the guy and the team of mules that camp out at the bottom of Crawford's hill? I think the sign on one of the mules read, "Lem's Towing Service... No Hill Too Steep." The sign on one of the other mules read, "It only LOOKS like Everest!"
Paul McCartney's been quoted as saying the inspiration for "The Long and Winding Road" was Crawford's hill and the song started out as "The Long, STEEP and Winding Road."

Yes, that's some hill...

I just drove 15 hours back home from Austin and DIED when I saw that. I'm not sure if it was because I'm exhausted or that it was totally unexpected...

HAHAHAHAHA. Wow. I just laughed a whole lot.

Thank you for that.

:D

Oh, and right now she has a frost mustache, so you wouldn't be able to tell a smile from a frown...
