In asending order (All cars I EVER owned): 1976 - Mustang II 1982 - Chevy Z28 1984 - VW Golf 1992 - BMW 520* 2002 - VW Polo* 1981 - 308 GTSi * Still Have um. The Golf gave up the ghost when the chipmunk could no longer gallup.
My Mongoose Supergoose and my Fuji 12 speed. How may other people can say their first car was a Ferrari? Of course it has been all Chevy's, Jeep's and VW's since then, but soon we will have another of Enzo kids adopted and in the driveway.
NSX SL55 360 I have a list of every car I have ever owned and the list is really long. Most of the cars on the list are junkers but I owned them all.
When we got the Testarossa - we had (and kept for a couple years) - 1995 Corvette ZR-1 1996 Porsche 993 Targa 2004 Z06 Corvette Now the Corvettes are both gone and replaced by 2005 997 Porsche and 1995 Rolls Royce Silver Dawn. Nice to see that almost everybody posting on this had some very interesting machinery other than Ferrari.
Impressive loyalty! I had a Fiat X1/9 in my past as well. Not sure how to answer - I've always had a driver and one or more fun cars, so there's not a definite "lineage". The last two cars that were in the Ferrari (non-daily driver) garage space were: Porsche 993 cab Merc SLK
1988 Mustang GT 1990 300ZX 1993 Ferrari 348SS I might add that the Ferrari was ALMOST an NSX - thank God I went for the Ferrari
Like others, I have been lucky enough to have a daily driver and a fun car. So the fun car thread goes like this: 1973 Mach 1 - bought in 1976 when I was 16 (OK this was the only car then) and still own College and Graduate school intervened for too many years 86 Fiero 99 Miata 10th Anniv (Still own and most fun car ever) 88 TR
I put $5k down on a yellow 2002 NSX, sight unseen. The Acura dealership in Ohio (I'm in ORegon) was absolute a-holes in not honoring their prior verbal agreements (crap you would expect when buying a used Hyundai, NOT a $55k exotic!) so I pulled it. Then I found La Bella. And I am so glad I bought her instead of the NSX!!!!!
