Same here. Actually it started my "fourth car" string, my third being a 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia spider. Tried to start a "fifth string" with a Maser QP GT S, but the wife put the kybosh on that saying I was "spoiled"....Go figure...
Without a drivers license a 944 then as a legal driver a 928S, 911 3.2 Targa and then a white with blue and tan interior 328GTS...

I love the X1/9. That was my first car when I was 16. It was gutless (even in the 80's) but a heck of a lot of fun on the twisties. Never give up on the 308! Best wishes.

The Ferrari was my first non daily driver, but only the third car I ever owned (and the first with a manual transmission). 1986 Camry 1991 ES 250 1975 365 GT4 2+2 Life got a bit more interesting after that...
