make sure to check out the Jeep display, they spent a lot of $ this year! http://beyondthequarter.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=334 there are pictures of the track
Very similar course to the jeep 101 promo I did a few years back. Most fun: 60 degree incline and decline. 45 degrees was pretty fun too - sideways - you could reach out and touch the ground! can't wait to see it.
Very similar to the Porsche Cayenne event from last summer... and the Dodge Viper Owners Invitational from 2002... and... ;-) Is anyone other than me and Kenny gonna be there tomorrow? Is anyone going to the Jeep Party? Ferrari Dinner? Ford Party at Suede?
i'll be there for the ferrari party, am probably going to be running around in nj all day press day, then will be at the show fri-sunday the 18th
I'll definitely be there on Weds the 7th. Rob - I'll look you up. I think I have your cell# stored in my phone.
Why a Jeep when you could get a Land Rover? I'm sure most Land Rover owners would rather not get their vehicle all scratched up, but my dad isn't one of them. It's funny because we've pulled out a couple of Jeeps stuck in the sand with our Disco.
A bunch of Maser guys will be displaying our classics in the outside courtyard, attending the fundraiser & viewing the auto show on Wed nite. Greg, I'll see you there.
#1 - Land Rovers run about $15-$20k higher than Jeeps. Also, maintenance on a Jeep is significantly less costly (Jeeps are very simple to work on. I've had 3 Cherokees.). And none of my Cherokees ever got stuck (well, one ended up wrapped around a tree + telephone pole. I walked away from the accident.). My current '95 Cherokee made it up my driveway in Vermont in 3' of snow uphill a few years back. And my old '87 Laredo had the off road package with 31" x 10.50 tires. Jeeps can hang with Rovers anyday.
