While looking through some of the posts I saw a picture of a Spyder with beige racing seats with a red stripe down the centre. I'm thinking of ordering the same thing, could whomever posted the picture post it again please, I cant find it now !! Also, how did you order the red stripe, there doesn't appear to be an option for it. Thanks !

It's my car. It's in the dealer special order instructions. You're salesmen puts it in the order in the same way you order stitched logos in the headrests.

    I've started a fashion trend. :)

I just tried to go through my old emails to get you specifics of price on stripe, but could not locate.
In essence, stripe and stitched cavallino together are approximately $2400 US. I think the stripe was a little over $1100 and cavallino a little over $1200.
They are both put in as extracampanario options by dealer. It is a separate form where they do the non-standard option requests.
    Hope this helps.

Actually that makes two of us. :)

Took it for a drive yesterday top down in 40F deg weather, put the heater on full and enjoyed myself thoroughly.

Your car is absolutely stunning! sporty and classy in one package!
I wonder if you considered a metallic red. I saw an unusual red 458 spider the other day. It flew by and I only saw it from the side and back. It was an unusual red, very similar to the one shown in the unrelated pictures below. Is this rosso fuoco?
    Cheers.

I did. I rejected it not for looks but for the cost and worry about touching it up. I did see a 458 coupe in Rosso Fucco and it's outstanding.

Thanks Bob, it's every bit as stunning as the first time I saw it. Sorry to steal your look but I am definitely adding it to my order.
