I have the feeling that for a brand as prestigious as Mercedes it is useless to be a champion by cheating like in England.
Today's boos are due to that trap from England!!!
    What do you think?

They won't care and simply spin the story that they had the slowest car on the grid and somehow magically his Lewisness overcame everything and won the title.

I think you are wrong: Mercedes didn't "cheat" at Silverstone.

At most what happened was between 2 drivers, and the FIA stewards have already investigated the facts, examined the evidences and juddged the incident.

Hamilton was penalised, and at no time the FIA suggested that Mercedes had cheated in any way.

I don't even understand why you feel the need to post such an accusation.

It’s not cheating indeed, but they are really trying everything they can do to catch RB.

This slowing down yesterday might be allowed but is not what most people are watching F1 for.
I can’t imagine it’s what Hamilton and mostly Mercedes want to be remembered for.

Seeing the reaction of the crowd I think this is a genuine question. Sure they are asking the same at the Mercedes headquarters.

The problem is that the penalty isn’t strict enough to stop Mercedes from implementing their new race strategy, if you can’t beat them crash them out of the race.

Not an accusation, the proof is that they have done this two races in a row. An obvious game plan and strategy.

Twice in a row, just after their team principal said a dnf for max would put them in play.

    No accusations. Just interesting.

Yes the skill required to punt the McLaren into the Red Bull on a slightly greasy wet track by Lewis’s teammate is so simple to calculate and execute, it was surely done on purpose. Lol

Horner clearly stated it was not on purpose and knows Toto did not orchestrate such a thing.

Not done on purpose but harsh penalties would make drivers think twice.

The penalty should be if you knock someone out of the race due to your negligence, then you should be ejected period. That would stop the nonsense.

For a level headed observer, that would be coincidence.

But a conspiracy theorist would see a demonic plot there, of course ...

    Racing incident.

FIA said "car 44 is predominantly at fault", so that means both drivers were at fault.

Both drivers didn't give enough space to each other.

First, I see no cheating from Mercedes, but let's for the sake of argument say they are/were/will cheat. That would still have zero impact on how the championships are viewed in the future. Evidence? How do people view Schumacher's seven WDC's when the 94 was won in an illegal car (yes we had traction control fitted, but swear we didn't use it despite fact top drivers and other teams could see/hear it in action), or the fact he still needed to take Hill out in the last race? What about the effect of his driving being so down right dangerous and despicable that he had all his points taken away in 97 affect his legacy in the eyes of people here? How about the turn of the century years when the FIA stood for Ferrari International Assistance? What about Prost and Senna taking each other out on successive years in Suzuka? Crashgate? Monaco pole crash? Senna and Schumacher are some of the dirtiest, cheatingest (made up word), dangerous, most unsportsman like drivers ever to have shamed F1. But they are still seen as gods of the sport and people conveniently forget, or forgive, both their innumerable instances of cheating, dangerous and bad driving with no tarnish on their reputation. So again, I see no cheating by Merc, but if they were it would have exactly zero impact on their history.

That is the most succinct breakdown of F1 history and duplicity that I've read. As a fan of both Schumacher and Senna, I cannot disagree with anything you've written. The reality is that apex predators/type 1 drivers/competitive people are ruthless. And they are celebrated for being so (and paid handsomely).

I do not understand how a brand like Mercedes that won the last 7 world titles admits that level of cheating to win its 8th title I would not admit it because that cheating goes against my principles and I suppose in Germany they think the same as me !!!!

or, at the very least a driver who causes another driver to crash out and is judged mostly responsible should be given a mandatory 3 grid penalty so that driver cannot profit from taking out a rival. 10 seconds was a joke.
