Does anyone here have a reccommendation for tickets at Spa?
Specifically, which grandstands are your favourite?

We've purchased tickets in the past from www.gpticketshop.com - great folks and this year bought from www.belgium-grandprix.be - we bought tickets from them for this year shortly after returning after last year's race. They had a substantial savings early purchase date. We've always been at ***nes (Silver 8 - showing 260 Euro for weekend) but decided to get seats in Pouhon (Silver 6 - showing 320 Euro for weekend). In Pouhon you can see then come out of Rivage, down the hill into Pouhon and out into ***nes. There's a big screen tv directly across from the Silver 6 stands. They are suppose to have some covered gandstands this year - if you go the the referenced site hopefully you will find the track map with all the details. Parking can be interesting. This is a favorite track for us next to Imola.

As always, thank you for your help jknight/carol!
I still have your PM and was just looking at the website of your reccommended ticket broker.
Silver 6 sounds/looks good to me, but I wanted to field locals perspective as well.
Do you still have the parking option for Silver 6 or 8 that you mentioned in your PM?
It appears as though the event's/track's (www.belgian-gp.be) own ticket agent is the least expensive at 320E for Silver6.
    Anyone...???

    Good morning -

We will get there very early and park on the road again - free. We've parked in the pasture marked for Silver 8 but almost always have ended up walking from the track back to that field. Not if, but when the rain comes, that field is a mess. In the past they don't seem to have enough busses to accomodate the spectators and it's push and shove to get onto one. We've actually made beat the bus to the parking area by walking. Silver 6 is right near Silver 8 so as mentioned we will get there plenty early and walk up the road to the entrance. We've walked the track several times after the race to see if we might find a better place to sit and we come back to the same area! I don't think that you can beat sitting where you can hear them coming thru the forest, see them coming and going away and then look at the tv in front of you for the remainder of the circuit activity. At least last year they had more porta-potties! Unfortunately, it appears that this may be our last Spa race to attend for awhile, I work for a school district and it's most likely that Texas will start after Labor Day in 2006 and the provisional date for Spa in '06 is September 10. :-(

    Enjoy!

Thanks jKnight for all your advice. We are booked in Silver6 as you reccommended. I can't wait to hear the V10's scream through the Ardenne!
