OK, So it's only in 1/18 scale. I wanted a red GTS for my desk and could only find yellow ones at reasonable prices. I just bought a red Hot Wheels Berlinetta and cut the roof off. A little glue, filler, and paint, and it becomes a GTS.

In 1/18 time does that mean my engine out is due in 2 months, or is it 52 years. How does the math work?

    Sweet.......a couple questions:

    1. Aren't you worried about resale value?

    2. Do you get any squeaks or rattles with the top on?

At least the PPI will only be $1.95 when you do sell it.

Don't paint the roof. It will destroy resale. How sticky is it? Close up of the passenger air bag? Date code on tires? Fluids ?

I will buy with no PPI !!!

hey....isn't that exactly how they made the real GTSs? hence the lower production numbers..... ;)

Nice work! I love it, but the model itself seems to be some weird US / Euro combination.

Did a 355 like that ever exist?

I'm guessing gray market car brought to US requirements... Missing the corner markers but does have the Amber front lights. :)

I think this 1/18 car is a chop shop special, well clearly she has been chopped and it looks great. It has the corner lights but not the ambers in front. I wonder if its great market

I love the custom work on the roof. Great job. I have a few salvage f50 and 550 models if you guys want to see pictures. One is getting suspension work in the shop right now.

Ok, I ran down to the garage to snap these. The yellow 355 a jealous ex girlfriend keyed the quarter panel. Insurance totalled it out because they said any new ferrarichat buyers would not want it once they ran a paint meter on it (joking!!!!).

The 550 was a suspension damage from someone evading the cops. (notice the windshield has been kicked out). State farm totaled it.

The f50, its a famous one seen on youtube with the highest mileage out there. I keep these in my 355 in case someone wants to buy them without a PPI.

Post the VIN so when it comes up for sale in the future there will be a record of the work performed.....at 1/18 scale.

I once taped off a red 1/18 scale F 355 B and repainted it blue because there were no blue Berlinetta models in 1/18 made, EVER, to my knowledge. It was probably 2001 when I did this; My dream F 355 would be a GTS Fiorano in MONACO BLUE (Look it up! WOW!!!!!! What a color!!!))
I am going to do this again with a grey or red Spider model in 1/18 as long as it has tan interior. I already bought a can of blue spray paint that is the closest I could find to Swaters Blue....I want a replica of my car!!!!!!!

I test drove a Blue Chiaro 95 F 355 Berlinetta, but the owner had reservations about selling it. Why put it on EBAY???
Could not find a blue Berlinetta that was gated....at least not in this country.
