Yes, it was good to get back on the freeway. I got about a 45 drive with rpm's of 4-5k. Big smiles for the ride! Nice to meet you to Frank. What kind of exhaust do you haveon the Diablo? The weather today was incredible. The turnout for this local consours was great, many nice cars, and very friendly people. Many thanks to the Alfa Romeo Club for a terrific event. Most of the Ferraris in the show belonged to Scuderia South Florida members. A few of us met for breakfast and then drove to TY Park down I-95. The beautiful blue Maserati 3500GT was voted Best of Show and Best Italian. The grigio F420 Spider ("her 4re") won Best Exotic. Also the infamous Slutmobile made an appearance. Crawl? I watched my fingernails grow while stuck on A1A. I got a kick out of all the tourists using their camera phones to take pics of our Ferrari parade down A1A and Las Olas. Beautiful day today, fabulous weather, good friends, nice ride(s), and great cars! What more could you ask for? Okay, maybe a paved parking lot would have been nice but still a very good day. Great to have Bill, Mara, and Frank along with the regulars, Andy, Ron, Fred (and Mrs. Fred) for the O.J. Simpson "white Bronco" style ride along A1A and Los Olas Blvd. after the show. You guys raised the bar a few notches adding those beautiful cars to the lineup! Have some decent pics. Will try to post soon. Thanks to all!

AWESOME time!! I will try to get some pics posted tomorrow. You will all get a kick out of this.......Yesterday, while driving home, I found a ratchet in my car - unfortunately, I found it by hearing a very strange metal sound dragging on the ground while exiting I-95. Somehow, someone must have dropped the ratchet while working on my car, and there it sat - in the bellypan, until it made it to one of the small holes, where it stuck out and started dragging along the ground. I stopped, and was horrified to find it was located in the center of the car, so there was NO way of reaching it. I felt VERY silly sitting on the side of the road, with all the people who I just passed now passing me. Luckily, someone pulled over who had a jack. I jacked up the car and was able to pull it out safely. I guess it's nice to have a Ferrari, since they told me they only really pulled over to get a look at the car!!!
