    pulled one cover off cam belt to check the belt doesn't have any cracks or wear on it, my question is do i go ahead an change them or wait. i need to change the injectors anyway while i have it opened up. any thing else i should look at. the wife bought me this car in 01 and i've only put 2k on it. it has 25k on it now and the guy she bought it from had the belts changed before he shipped it. also i have to change the hoses on it. is ricambi a good source of parts. as always thanks

    It's rare to see deterioration on a belt.

    It is time for belts and tensioners.

    Ricambi is a good source for parts.

    I would replace them, too much of a risk for a few belts. If you replace them then you know when they were done.

    Do the belts for sure and tensioners if they are shot.

    My belts look fine as well, HOWEVER, its the tensioner that is making noise on my car. If that goes...KABLAMMO...just lost a belt and a 5 figure engine rebuild! I'm doing a belt change on it due to the concern about losing a tensioner bearing. That would be my biggest concern in your case. If you've only put 2K on it in 7yrs, those bearings are at risk. Do the belts!
