The car is awsome! My Dad has owned 3 in the last 5 years. He just purchased a 06 arnage t and it is fast!. As far as realibilty......... not to good. Driving it everyday is no good because you cant put a cup into the cupholder without breaking it into 2 (happened 4 times on our 02 arnage!). And it costed us $600 for each cupholder. Usauly costs $3500 for a engine check up. if you want a extra key.... that will cost you $600 bucks. Its a awsome car, if you can aford keeping it! LOL!

Does a few broken cupholders really speak of bad reliability? I dont think so. If you can handle the basic maintenence I would opt for a 01 or newer model as those had much better improvements to the chassis and all around.

I have had a 2000 red label for a few years and havent had any issues. The yearly regular maint. is 900 bucks at an auth. dealer. Other than a trunk release that was sticking I haven't had any problems. The cup holders aren't great but I haven't broken one. I love the car.

Yeah i think it's a really great car.

I love the way it looks and the superior stance, without the get out of my way, poor man the Phantom has.

    It's pricey though...

The early green label cars with the BMW motors are not that bad to own. The service parts can be bought off the shelf from any Bimmer dealer and we have found ours to be very reliable. Worst case if the motor ever goes there are plenty of 4.4 v8s laying around for $5k. Thats much better then $25k for the 6.75 Rolls lump.

So I guess it's pretty important to make sure it has a BWM engine. Good info, thanks

All of the Green Label cars have the BMW 4.4 v8. The same motor as you would find in the 740 or 540 models with a twin turbo set up. All of the Continental R s have the 6.75 Rolls Royce iron blocks.

They have a few great ones at the Geneva dealership. An Azure Mulliner convertible for 360K down from like 500K with 15K kilometers.
