Hello, I have been looking at acquiring for some time a Bentley - what I believe to be probably one of the finest GT's to buy. Whilst I am pretty conversant in some makes, I have absolutely no idea of what to look out for when it comes to purchasing one of these vehicles? Is there something that I should look out for? Should I not look at a particular year and only look at another? In terms of ongoing costs and upkeep, is there something that needs to be replaced that costs a small fortune on a regular basis? I have been looking at 2005 and 2006 models with around 15,0000 to 20,000 miles - are these safe buys? Thanks in advance for any help.
Pretty reliable and sturdy cars, great as a daily driver especially in Snow Belt areas. I have a Speed but even standard car was greatly improved for 2008,with improved throttle response, smoother transmission, better steering and reduced lag. If anything breaks though you better have the car under warranty as parts and labor are very expensive. Whatever you decide to buy ,make sure your dealer throws in a warranty to cover you as long as you own the car. Best of luck!
