    I've no idea. I just thought it a good idea to copy the story here to make sure it's seen... as it is a high-end car forum, I hoped some good would come from it.

    If it is that the specific car you're thinking of, was it sold with a specific number plate people should be on the lookout for?

    thats terrible. hope they catch the tools that did this. I agree that it would help to know what the four digits are. my fear is that it will simply get taken apart and sold for parts.
