I have two Bentley's and have found only a couple forums on the net for Bentley's and they may get one or two posts a month on a good month. Someone needs to ad a Bentley section on a good site. It would bring more traffic than these stand alone sites with no posts.

lol! Well, maybe I've found the best Bentley forum right here! ;^D

I'm going to be ripping into a Bentley AC system in a few weeks and I was wondering how to get (or if there even is) a wiring diagram. I'll check the year and post, but that's my question. I think it's an '89, but not sure.

They have told me they can't get a wiring diagram for the car, but I don't know how hard they've really looked.

    Thanks!

    Fred

here's the info: 1985 Series Eight (not R turbo)

So, apparently we have to get into the climate control. Sounds scary! But I've fixed the same for 928's so it's certainly doable...if I can get some sort of schematic.

    What do you think?

    Thanks,

    Fred

    Thanks,

    Fred

PS: Maybe I can get the owner to join...?

    Ok, here's my question...

    1985 Bentley R-type, non turbo.

Where is the automatic seat belt control box??

The shoulder belts just go "click" when you turn on the key, instead of gliding down the track.

If I can find the control box for that maybe I could replace it or...who knows...fix it??

    Thanks!

    Fred
