consumer news and business channel (CNBC) had a special on the cars people buy when their secretary drives a mercedes-benz. chicago anchor phil lebeau did a segment on bentley gold coast. they cronicled a customer who buy's a exotic every month or so, and does so at BGC.

i know the dealership takes a bashing on f-chat. i've visited their dealership a few times, and the showroom is breathtaking. the cars are top shelf, and the ambiance speaks "new money" i know there's the guy who bought a porsche and got a salvage title. i know that a car advertised with 900 miles, had 1,500 miles on it when you looked at it. but they are a bentley authorized dealer. they don't just give those to anyone, especialy one in the heart of the third largest city in the country.

this is bentley gold coast exclusive. their sister store luxury motors is to used bmw's what sam's club is to a 5 gallon barrel of nacho cheese. so that's not my argument. my point is i don't think the $400,000.00 porsche carrera GT in their lobby has "not actual miles" on it's title...

I bought a Porsche 911 From them last year. Nice car, low miles, no probs.
Salesman was a little pushy on the phone, but no big deal. Bought it sight unseen. Everything went well.

I asked for a price on an advertised car, and was sent an E-mail ever damn day after that....Each new Bentley comes with the materials for creating Crystal Meth!

    Hi Christopher,
I am truly glad, that all went well with your purchase.

IMHO, LM in their multiple locations, and BGC, also part of the group, are gaining a not so flattering reputation that's spreading like the Flu. There are many people that have had nightmares dealing with them, including me. To say that you are better off avoiding them, could be construed as being closely akin to saying it might be advantageous for you to avoid contracting HIV.

PS - If I wanted a damn cappucino, I would have gone to StarSucks!

Luxury Motors recently bought the Gartner Saab dealer on Odgen Avenue in Downers Grove. Pretty soon you will start seeing Saabs with 22 inch wheels.

Don't forget the gold kits, fart cans, and remnants of the salesman's half eaten "Happy Meals" under the seat.

Q - When you buy a "new" car from them, can you title it???

Q - Can they actually certify the odometer, on a "new" car from the previous owner?

I am amazed that the Secretary of State hasn't pulled their business tickets yet.

    IMO, That's nice to hear!

The attorneys, might be mistaken for a school of sharks in a feeding frenzy!

Now there's an idea. A persuasive/aggressive attorney could set up an office, with a big sign, accross the street from LM, to reel in the "chum" I mean LM customers.

Sounds like they have a reputation for selling to rappers, pro athletes, and the bling crowd. However, the prices for Audis, Bimmers, etc. on their website are extremely competitive....

That's because most of them have been wrecked.

If you want to deal with a bunch of greasy, slimy, pushy Tony Soprano wannabes wearing fake designer clothes and watches who won't leave you alone and get agressive and rude when you tell them no, only to end up with a car that likely has a nasty history if you do buy from them, go for it.
