I got to play with was the 200mph Bentley GT Speed. Ya know... I liked it, but not as much as I expected too. I wanted to be instantly transformed into one of Bentley Boys when I sat down in it... and it didnt happen. It was a VERY nice car... 550hp, 500 ft.lbs.... but it was pretty sterile in how it was delivered. If it was just a little more raw I would have loved it. Its big, real big. You feel how big it is when you start going fast. The upside was that is was VERY nice inside. It did feel very plush. The seats could have been a little softer, but perhaps you firm the seat foam up when the car can do over 200 mph. I can see the wisdom of that. Did I mention the car is large? Perhaps its the right size for me (I'm a big fooker), but the weight is telling when the road gets twisty. The weight does lend the car a solid feel, but its also insular. The overall feel of the car is fantastic, it is indeed a GT car. The curvy roads around Laguna Seca were dispatched with ease as long you didnt get to jiggy with it. When there was a straight it was time to put the hammer down. The speed built up like a freight train. No drama, just building speed. I can see how it was made to be luxurious, but a little more feel would have suited me. This is the sportiest car from Crewe afterall. The interior reinforced the sporting image with all black leather and red stitching, a nice touch.

    Upsides:
    Lots of room
    Power for days
    Great looks

    Downsides:
    A little insular
    You feel the size

I got to drive one late last year... a dark titanium color. Dark colors suit the car better IMHO.

As for the car... LOVED IT IN EVERY WAY! I'm just waiting for someone else to eat the first 70K of depreciation then I'm in it.
