Friend of mine recently purchased a retirement home in the Georgetown County / Myrtle Beach / Pawleys Island area. Now, I'm not familiar with this area at all. But he asked me if I knew of a good independent mechanic that works on Bentleys. His Arnage T is a 2002-2004 series. Thought this would be a good question for the board. Thanks for any tips.

If nothing comes up locally, it may be worth a flatbed trip for experts when servicing is needed. Here in Charlotte, we have Automotive International who specialize in Rolls-Royce/Bentley. A number of their clients send cars from outside the local area. We also have a very trustworthy flatbed driver that works with them regularly.

Hopefully you'll find a great shop right in the region, but this is at least an option.

Make the drive to European Road and Racing. Trust me. Karl is the best. People come from all over the Southeast to his shop. It is in North Charleston, SC btw.

    Thanks for the ideas.
I don't know Karl, but I certainly know of Karl and his legendary reputation. I just wasn't aware that he worked on basically non-Italians. He does British stuff too -- Rolls/Bentley/Aston? Cool. I'll pass this along.

Karl would be the best but there is a place near broadway called euro tech that takes care of a continental GT so if he doesn't want to make the drive he could check that place out.

Karl always has a Bentley or Rolls sitting around the shop.
