    Bit of a stretch here...

A friend of mine is visiting Tulsa and sent me a picture of a Bentley Turbo R that is for sale. He didn't snag the number a couple days ago but is going to try and get it today if possible. I was wondering if any Fchatters might know the car and how to get a hold of the seller. I have Googled, searched on Autotrader, Cars.com, Craigslist, but no luck. Here is what I know:

    Bentley Turbo R
Blue exterior / White leather interior
Asking price is $10,000 (per my friend, which I think is low, so I don't know what the story of the car is, but he said it appeared in great shape)

    Anyways any help is appreciated!

$10k is correct money for a high mileage early one. A maintained red ~89 one with huge miles just went for around $8k.

how 'bout that. maybe I should have bought a Turbo R and set aside $10k for maintenance rather than buying that VW...

My friend sent me a pic of the badge on the trunk and I can make out the license plate but not sure if I want to go that far in finding this seller.

I'm happy with the Mulsanne S I picked up last month. It was in that price range.

Only the down payment on the ownership experience. Plenty of people can "afford" to buy them, servicing tends to separate the wheat from the chaff...

Not only cost of repair, but finding someone strong enough to lift the parts is a problem. The rotors weigh 398 LBS per.
