How do you know the results include commision and tax? I looked all over the RM site and cannot find anyghing explaining the results. I assumed that the price quoted was the hammer price.

interesting someone paid more for the 500L than the 500D. man, i want that 275 gtb!

 

Because in one of the many other threads here about this auction this was effectively discussed

And because like many others I watched it on the internet - fab way to waste half a day !

Oh and thats traditionally how the houses display as it looks better for them

And not many houses uses single digit bid increases they tend to use multiples of hundreds or thousands so hammer prices typically end in zeroes

There may be other reasons too that its too early to remember......
