I do too, but does anyone else think it's weird he weighs in on these issues? I know it's nothing new for him, but it still strikes me as odd that the "boss" feels the need to opine on the athletes of his business.
+1 Although, it would be interesting to look back in here for the many who claimed he "needed to get away from daddy and hire a real manager!"....... Not really - Seems he was asked and as we know, he has opinions he's not afraid to express on many things. Kind of similar to a coach/manager commenting on his players maybe? Cheers, Ian
We have to remember as well that everywhere Bernie goes, someone is sticking a microphone or camera in his face and asking him questions. No matter what drivel he's saying, Bernie's words played all over the world which keeps his product in the news. Perhaps Hamilton would be better off teaming up with Flavio's management team? Ha! BHW
If Hamilton were smart, he would go back to Dad and become a multiple World Champion... but he most likley will go Hollywood and fade into the background. His comments at Monaco about being Black where clearly influenced by American Black Hollywood types.. Hamilton is a kid who has done more for the Black race in the form of positive role model and immage ... and he is going to throw it away by following all these vampires who only want him for his $$$ and fame. It takes a long time to realise that your Parents are the only ones who want the BEST for you!

He broke up with his Hollywood girlfriend so that's a good start. Until and unless he hires a real manager he'll continue to just be ok.

From what I read it was the opposite. He dumped her in an attempt to reshuffle his life because of the crap year he's had and has regretted it since. It was still the right move.
Definitely. He should definitely go back to having his dad manage him. Either way, in a profession where the margins between the differing performance levels of all competitors are so minuscule, it obviously makes a big difference if he's only performing at 99% of his potential. I think he lost that 1% edge because he has been unsettled by all that. Perhaps he needs a steady "normal" girlfriend who isn't a big star and can be quietly supportive? All the best, Andrew.
