    No biggie - Just "Bernie being Bernie".

    Since when has given a damn about the live fans? - As he goes on to say;

    He's gotta retire soon, hasn't he?......

    Cheers,
    Ian

    Bernie is correct. A democracy is a terrible way to run a company or government; it is virtually impossible to get a majority to agree on every task, procedure, ect to successfully run either. That's why our founding fathers went with a democratic republic for the USA.

    Of course Bernie is right.
    Democracy is a myth.
    Most large organisations like the FIA need an autocratic and strong leader to prosper.
    If the ruling of the FIA, NASCAR, the Olympics, the World Cup and most sporting federations was left to committess, nothing would happen.
    Most of the times things move because there is a strong personality behind.
    So, suffering the Ballestre, Mosley, Ecclestone, Panoz or Bill France of this world is inevitable in the interest of motorsport.
    I can't say I like everything about Ecclestone, but he dragged F1 out of club racing standards, to make it an important global organisation.
