Bernie lives in the '70s. His replacement choice would be Austin Powers. He's about money in the sport - money for himself. Bernie believes F1 is for older men with established money, and not for spending (wasting) money on young people to get them into the sport. Bernie doesn't believe Social Media sharing has a place in F1, because it doesn't make him money. That is where Bernie is ruining the sport. The new "Bernie" must embrace all forms of publicity - free or not. There's plenty to be made without getting so greedy.
Actually, his actions prove him to be a vampire, so he is immortal, although he could still be vanquished if someone had the right tools and the willpower to make it happen. I'd be satisfied with him retiring quietly. Soon.
