    Did anybody else catch this:

    Andrea Bertolini (the racer, not the singer) is about to test drive the Ferrari F1 in Vairano.

    I never heard of the guy and am stunned about this. Sounds like another Fabrizion Giovanardi kinda deal. Does anybody know more about this?

    Makes me wonder how Fisichella must feel. :(

    Does anybody have a picture of Bertolini's helmet?

    and We have the start of the San Marino Grand Prix The cars are Reving and GOOOOO
    The Ferrari piloted by famed operatic singer Andrea Bochelli was a little slow off the start but he can't see the light go green and has to wait to hear the others... and now down into the first corner - oh - Bochelli is not turning -- he has careened off the course and is heading for the tire barrier and oh my that was one heck of a hit -- time to say good bye Andrea now the rest of the field, is of course, under the safety car while the martials try to extricate Bochelli from the grand stands and we will take a brake to hear from our sponsors....

    Yup, sounds a lot like the Giovanardi deal. Up and down the long straight at Vairano. More of a reward to him than anything else.

    I can't believe I don't see any reports or pictures of this historic event. Damn.

    How about this? Ten bucks for the first to post a picture of that test here. I'm serious.

    That looks more like Barichello. And I doubt that is Vairano's grand stand.

    Not even "Corriere della Sera" runs a story about it. They prefer talking about Mc Laren.

    Look what I found: A picture of his helmet. Does look a bit like Rubens, so maybe Bertus' picture is the real deal. Would be nice to see some more.

    Well he is testing the car today as well, so there is hope for some shots. After all he covered an entire GP distance yesterday. Imagine that, just going up and down the straight.

    Interesting the picture of his helmet. Looks like a regular Schumi helmet with the Bertolini blue underneath. Not like his regular helmet at all.
