New to the forum but what are the best quality models for 1/18, I'm looking for a 360, 575, 456 and Enzo , all in red, around $30-40 each to order online to overseas as gifts? Could anyone help me with that?

I looked Kyosho and Hotwheels, they were really bad in details I think, maybe a link to a whole collection website where I can purchase at the site? Thanks in advance again!!!

In the 1:18-league, Exoto does great work, but they are mostly about vintage Formula 1 where Ferrari is concerned. I do believe they have a 250 SWB in 1:18 coming up, but when and where, I don´t know.

BBR is releasing a 1:18 Enzo in a while, but at a very limited edition. Supposed to be awesome though.

Other than that, there´s indeed Kyosho who makes a very respectable Boxer and Daytona and in the more contemporary 1:18 models, you´re pretty much stuck with Hotwheels.

If you want quality, you´re just better off in 1:43.

I was checking ewacars.com , they have pretty good collection but like you said, I want quality but 1/43 seems too small for the kiddos. As a gift, I might go with Mattel, well I guess we are stuck with what they make so thanks for the quick reply anyways.

All Hot Wheels, all red except the 456 which is silver/beige.

    Burago have a red 456.

Not the most accurate but ok.

Kyosho beats Mattel/Hot Wheels hands down! Compare their respective Daytona models for example. Kyosho's Boxer models, 365 & 512, are pretty damn good for under $40!

In the 30-40 range, your best choice are the Mattel models. The Kyoshos will run you 50+...maybe up to 80 depending on the car, but they (thus far) have only done the 308/328, Boxers, and Daytonas (road & Comp.). For the money, HotWheels is hard to beat.

Exoto/BBR are gonna run you from just under 200+.
