    been pondering another fcar, I’ve owned a 328 and 360 but that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t buy another one. These cars are all priced from $70-$120k. Anyone have a crystal ball on which would be best for long term ownership and putting on 10k miles a year and maintain value?

    360
    430

    Or jump to $200k for a 2014+ 458

    A nice 430 is going between 90-100k...seems that the price is at a bottom perhaps they go down another 10k over the next two years. I would say it's a safe at this price. I've owned mine for one year now without any issues. I'll do the yearly service over the winter. Good luck

    maintain value and putting 10k a year does not work together in the Ferrari world.

    You owned the best 2 ones from the list. A 355 is the prettiest but very expensive to run 10k/year.

    How about a wild card - a Ferrari FF? It's is seriously the best Ferrari for $120k/$140k.

    Is your definition of 'best' maintaining value or something else ?

    Essentially the car that is the lowest initial cost is most likely to lose you least

    If your definition of 'best' is visual then surely its a 308 or 355

    For many 'best' is fastest at the drag strip: 430

    And so on

    If you have the funds to spend I would go into a 458 however you'll see a continued decline in the price. I like the front of the 458 and the digital dash compared to 430...car is smaller and lighter. On the 430 I actually like the curves with the side shoulder intakes scoops that give the car an aggressive look in my opinion. I'm sure the 458 offers more performance that I actually don't need since the 430 gives me enough HP and handling that I'm looking for. And I love how my 430 sounds compared to my buddies 458 is more tame. Good luck!

    not close; hands down a TdF blu 575M Maranello. The most flawless pure design by Ferrari/Pininfarina since the 365GTB4 Daytona. And, because it is a true GT car, a great everyday driving Ferrari which the 8-cylinder cars, wonderful as they may be, are not.

    Furthermore, remember that these were $300,000. cars when new, and relatively low production. Without question, they will appreciate.

    For me its the tr...it has already depreciated, and 10 years from now can only go up;)

    Based on the OP's list, I'd say the 430. But 10k miles/year, probably won't maintain its value.

    Yeah I know 10k a year in miles will drop the value considerably, but it is still a valid question as to which would be affected less.

    My guess would be a low mile 328, but that is only one of the questions

    Only way 10k miles a year isn't gonna have a huge negative impact on price would be to buy a car that already has a ton of miles on it. Course then you'll be paying for it in maintenance.

    A 550 with 20-30k miles would be a safe bet. It’s a superb Ferrari that ticks all the boxes and probably won’t get crushed on depreciation with some miles. Service is also reasonable.

    But, if you’re into having a really good time, buy a Scud with higher miles and drive the **** out of it. There’s a 57k mile car on eBay now for $129 that would be great fun and I can’t see it devaluing all that much from that price point when judging what high miles or salvage Stradales have sold for these last couple years. I doubt you could find a Ferrari to have more fun with than that for under $130k!

    IMHO 10k miles a year AND maintain value is going to be an older car as in 348 or older. Prob. 328 or 308 might fit the bill the best.

    ALL are in a high point IMHO. People have a lot of money sloshing around and the bubble in the past 3 years has pushed values up. The real question is who is going to buy them? The only guys I see buying and driving 550's and 575's are old men. I don't see ANY interest by 20 somethings or even 30 somethings in them at C+C. They're invisible. 599 gets some interest when it arrives...

    As above... Manual Transmission. F1 will depreciate further.

    It looks like you're only looking at V8 midengined 2 seaters. From your list, your budget won't buy a manual 430 and you've had a 360 so I'd say a manual 355 with some miles. But I hear they can be expensive to maintain.
