I tend to go on short trips to my cottage during summertime and I am looking to find a cover to protect my car from dust, rain, tree saps etc while the car is parked outside
Any suggestion for a 3rd party lightweight portable premium quality car cover for 812 GTS?

Look at California Car Cover. I don't own one for my GTS, but they did a really nice job on the cover I just ordered for my 36 Ford. Lots of material choices.

Just a note of warning, try and refrain from putting car covers on when the car has not been washed yet. If it's windy, the car cover moves around and if it's got some sand or whatever it'll rub on the paintwork and scratch it.

I didn't know it either until I was about to order one and my brother (works for a car restoring company) warned against it.

I have that very one (albeit for an F12) which I use in my underground storage which has a very slightly opening to the elements where a bit of misty rain can blow in. It is a really great cover and fits well. It takes up about half 30% of the boot space of the F12 so I guess quite a bit more of the boot space of a GTS

^^^^^^^^This^^^^^^^ - SOOO true - That said, Covercraft does make one that has a very soft inner lining - I have one for my black 458 I use outside and save my factory red lingerie cover - even with the soft lining I still wipe it down with a quick detailer before putting it on and do not use it if windy.

    Cheers :)

covercar.com = i think they make the original ferrari covers. ordered from them, took weeks, pricey but worth it
