I removed the rear bumper on my Ferrari 360 to carry out some repairs and decided to clean it while it was off. While handling it, one of the heat shields fell off, and I could barely see any adhesive underneath.

How are these heat shields typically attached from the factory? What’s the best high-temp adhesive to reattach it securely so it holds up to the heat?

    Appreciate any insights!

You can always use something like a 3M 468MP. I'd prefer that over a liquid unless you have a lot of fraying and loose fibers.

Shoe Goo seems to want to stick to everything. E6000 is somewhat easier to work with and dries more "rubbery" for vibration tolerance. I would go with E6000 since metal part but get a wide tip tube.
