Can anyone share their experience with aftermarket wheels? I'm looking to put HRE 547r's for the sole purpose of putting on Pirelli P-zero Corsas (Stradale). I'd like to know which brands & styles you've used & the pros & cons. Thanks.

Just for the record, what catagory of 'best' are you looking for:

    A) lightness
    B) stiffness
    C) durability
    D) style
    E) ability to put up with tire changing shop machines

I don't think that there are wheels that are lighter and stiffer than the original wheels (Forged magnesium). BTW does everybody know that we are supposed to have these things xrayed from cracks at every 30K major? especially if we attend track event.

P-zero corsas are the main reason that the Stradale sticks so well. As far as best goes, I meant it in terms of lightness, durability, and lastly looks.

"P-zero corsas are the main reason that the Stradale sticks so well." Really? Not to be rude but I think you need to do a bit more research on the differences between the 360 and the CS. http://www.fast-autos.net/ferrari/ferraristradale.html
And although I have Stradale wheels and P-Zero Corsa's, I can assure you my 360 is no CS with regard to handling. I've done guite a a bit of research on wheel tire options and if I didn't get the Stradale package I would have done either the 19" HRE or RH Forged wheels with 8.5 x 19 with 235/35 in front and 11 x 19 out back with 295/30.

Thanks for your honesty. I'm planning to do 19x8" fronts with 225's, 19x10.5's with 285'si n the rear rear with pzero corsa. Did your 360 change dramatically with the corsas or am I wasting 10k? Thanks again.

Not a complete waste. First going to 19" wheels is definitely an improvement and of course getting the right tire will definitely add sharpness to the handling. If you’re tracking your car then everything must be taken into consideration with regard to max. performance and competitiveness. However, if your merely looking for improved street performance and aggressive looks you may want to consider a slightly harder compound tire which will ultimately offer more tread life and easier accessibility. I was very fortunate getting the Stradale wheel/tire package as my friend wanted to replace his with lighter HRE wheels. I couldn't say no!

Those are 19" HRE wheels. Can't tell if their chrome or polished. Hopefully they are only polished!

These are the best aftermarket wheels that I have seen on a 360.....19".
They were supplied by scuderia systems.

Try to hold off a little bit longer for the new HRE Competition line that is coming out after June 1st. They are going to be about $200 or so more per wheel then the 840R series and will be extremely lightwieght. There is limited information on them as of now, but there should be more in the not so distant future. All finishes are available but materials will be lighter then regular HRE (which are pretty light to begin with).

HREs for Alex. These are on my 355. Best wheels for both 355 and 360.

Yup, look like HRE 547's to me. Same goes for the ones on the yellow Modena coupe that's in some car show above it. They look chromed though, not polished. Way too shiny.
