    p.s. I wasn't goofin' really

few, if anyone on the planet would argue that this is the finest series 2 Alfa spider in the world. It was painstakingly OVER RESTORED (that is good!), to a level that is better than anything that ever left the Alfa Romeo factory in the '70's. It was done by Santos Foreign in soCal - and it goes as good as it looks (and that is incredible), so SERIOUSLY if anyone does not want to let the opportunity to get into this one get away - act fast!

for reference - the restoration is on par with omgjon's dino restoration documented here

Adam, but not this one? Most kamm tail spiders are so rusty and beat up - they almost all look a wreck, but when they are perfection restored, they look quite beautiful! Thanks for the comments, it is an unreal restored car, like I said on par with omgjon's dino restoration. I watched with interest his process, so realize that this little Alfa received the same over the top attention to detail.

this is a US car that was converted to full euro specs, special bits and pieces to make it go extra fast, tastefully modded with canvas vs. vinyl top, supple leather vs. vinyl seats, etc. Please PM me if you want the price, but I am selling for replacement value for parts and original car and full mechanical rebuild of everything that had been polished, painted, powder-coated, or plated before re-installation. The price does not reflect the thousands of hours of unbilled labor that the previous owner/restorer put into it. It is fair to say that if you wanted to re-create this car right now and pay for the labor involved, you could easily approach $60K - to $70K...I am 'giving' it away for a lot less than that! :)

    Please PM me...for the price

It's a nice car, though hardly perfect (US conversion, wrong wheels, wrong steering wheel, rubber floor covering, polished cam cover), but asking what well-fettled 308 QVs go for?

    ...Buona fortuna.

Momo's the "wrong wheels"!! I have the originals, of course they are flawless powdercoated, adorned with new tires, and the alfa centers are perfect, but Momo Vega's are THE wheels for these Alfa's...steering wheel is just a NARDI!!!, rubber floors are the way it is supposed to be I am pretty sure, so perhaps you called that one wrong, polished looks best on the cam covers, you missed the shift knob, it is chrome - but matches the interior perfectly...the top is a top level padded canvas - original was vinyl = yuck, seats are leather = original vinyl...the lightweight gears = racecar Alfa and not original, etc. The exhaust a beautiful polished stainless steel from headers to tailpipe - original plain old steel :(, Every part is redone = all suspension parts powdercoated = not original, but far superior...the headers are jet-hot coated, not original, but BEAUTIFUL!!! It is the Spider that Alfa should have made, but it would have been far too expensive....

THIS CAR IS REALLY A RESTO-MOD and was never shown as concours snobs would beat it up, but it is still the BEST by far restored Alfa Spider EVER! Period!

I've owned a very nice 308 Euro car and this car is just different...it is Pebble Beach quality on a very pretty Pininfarina Spider that is far better than any original US or EURO spider. It has lots of Alfa racecar parts internally, again just a SUPERIOR Alfa. It belongs in the best of collections....like mine, but I am 'shrinking' my collection :)

One look from an interested buyer and I will bet they will fall in love and buy it - it is that PERFECT!!!!!!

Sold yet? The Euro is slowly sliding back....HURRY!!! :)

Why redo the seats in leather but the floor in rubber?

why not? I like the rubber floors...they are really nice, brand new, logo'd, etc. There are also ricambi europe special ordered black with silver logo and trim mats that make it plush inside...

why are you wanting to be so negative? It is an amazing freaking car and you seem bent on criticizing it or ripping on my price? It is worth what a buyer and I agree on price wise, and the car is incredible, as you can see from the photos...and in 'real life' = just sick! Have a nice day :)

I have owned Alfa Spiders and absolutelt love them. This is a very nice resto mod indeed, but the asking price is too high. I am watching it on ebay just to see what happens. Good luck!
