All: I'm in the "hunt" for the most accurate and best value quality tire gauge. Has anyone researched and identified, as well as purchased a tire gauge that is very accurate? I do care to have the tires inflated to an accurate pressure. Recently I found my gauges off significantly and was shock. All replies welcome.....
I've been very happy with the Longacre digital gauge I purchased some time ago: http://www.longacreracing.com/products.aspx?itemid=1715&prodid=7352&pagetitle=Pro+Digital+Tire+Pressure+Gauge
I use this one - https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=2834 and have been very happy with it.
Consumer Reports actually tests them against a calibrated gauge...I can check and see who they recommend...
Here you go, top 2 were from the same manufacturer: Accutire MS-4021B Accutire MS-4400B (note that reviews (by actual users) on this one were negative on durability)) if you want analog, this was only slightly lower rated, but top of the dial type gauges: Intercomp 360060 I personally use a dial type as the digital gauges don't have a very good reputation for durability. (the Longacre being the exception)
