What is the best colour combination for the 458 italia? Gloss Black roof and Red body, or a Matte Grey roof and Red body or another combo..? I love the gloss black roof contrasting with the Gloss Red Body of the 458. I'd like to see your opinions on this!

The best color combo by far is rosso corsa exterior with all black interior with special red contrasting stitching, yellow tach and yellow calipers. The second best would be rosso corsa ext with biege interior again with red contrasting stitching and yellow tach and yellow calipers. In case you don't want yellow calipers, red work well too. Keep the seat belts black to avoid cheap looking red buckles.
I always loved yellow and first 2 were. I always said I would NEVER buy red and lo and behold loved the color on my 458 coupe and had to do it on spider. Given enough money a special red metallic or Bianco fuji would be VERY easy to live with. Silverstone and TdF are also outstanding. In the end, every color looks great if optioned/specced right. While the Rosso Corsa is a hot color; something more rare would be my choice. This Spider painted Grigio Ferro and a cuoio color leather interior features the race seats with Daytona trim. A 458 optioned like this has a timeless classic look about it that is hard to improve upon. 'Superquant' came up with this color and options combination. Geez, every car in this thread could easily be the "best color combo", you guys all have great taste. OP: I would avoid matte, it's a practically dead fad IMHO. Gloss black roof and red body is classic and will look great.
Completely agree - the matte finish paint and black wheels are done. Glossy paints and serious alloy wheel natural materials are the future. Matte finishes and painted wheels are "like putting a bumper sticker on a Bentley " - why the heck would you do that????
Picking up on this old tread. Anyone have a grey body with a black top? I have a Grey 2013 458 Italia, berlinetta, and am considering getting a wrap on the top part to make it two-tone. Any thoughts on other color combinations?
Love my black 458 Italia with OEM carbon fiber hood, side skirt, mirrors and rare multi-spoke wheels. Major interior upgrade is the LaFerrari handle which looks really nice.
