I am a red 1988.5 Ferrari 328 owner. Growing up in Italy in the 80's, that was THE Ferrari to have. But then again, Ferrari itself is a national monument for Italians, so any Ferrari is a dream to us. So, when I got to the point of being able to afford my own F-car, I had to decide which one to get. Everyday was something different, but the one I always came back to was my first love, the 328. So I got it. Best decision ever. I own several sports cars now, but the one that still gives me the biggest smile is the 328. My only pet-peeve is the predictable passive aggressive Magnum PI crack from the random bystander. Actually loved the show, and love the 308, which was a huge part of the show, but I always find it a bit annoying when the reference is made. Not even know why for sure. I guess it feels the same as when an actor is referred to him/her as a character's name rather than their own name. It cheapens its depth of character (in this case, of the great 328, and it's wonderful legacy). Wondering if others out there are having similar experiences, and if so, what's your favorite comeback? I figure might as well have a bit of fun with it... thanks in advance!
