    Hi,

Anyone help an Australian with the best cost ticket for Silverstone this year? I can not afford Paddock Club (know that as cant even find the price!). Here in Melbourne I was in a suite in the building NEXT to the Paddock Club which was brilliant. Cant seem to find the equivalent at Silverstone.

I am a serious F1 fan...so viewing the race is my priority.

Am arriving from Australia late on Saturday so can only attend the actual Sunday race :-(. Booked a hotel in Northampton...although have been warned that the traffic is horrendous...propose to bus it to the track but will leave early!

Am I better off purchasing a seat on International Pit Straight? Or one of these:

    Drivers' Lounge Lakeside (opposite Vale)
Silverstone Six Between Copse Corner and Maggots
Brooklands Restaurant At the bottom of Wellington Straight
Porsche Porsche Building (by Hanger Bridge
    Lakeside Lakeside (opposite Vale)

I am a member of the Australian Ferrari Club so if there is any Club marquee would be interested in hearing about that too.

    Many thanks in advance,

    Janne

Hi - there's no FOC presence - as for best seats I'm sure there are similar threads in the F1 section covering previous years that are be worth looking for - the buses may have a dedicated route to avoid some/most traffic

    Hi Janne

i would consider the stand between Copse and maggots, very fast section with big direction changes, ideally you want to make sure you can see a big screen too, not all ares of Siverstone have them

Alternatively the brooklands restaurant would be a good place to be

I heard parking is a nightmare? Any thoughts of getting there.

You ave to pre book parking on Sat/ Sun or use the Park & Ride. There are a number of private car parks (basically fields) that you can walk in from.
