Algar in Rosemont, PA (Suburban Philadelphia) is excellent, but not exactly the largest dealer in the world.

You can get hats, shirts, etc, but they don't really push them, you have to ask.

They always have a good selection of cars, and the owner is as personable a guy as I've ever met.

It's also in a very interesting, historic building that was originally a custom coach builder for automobiles in the 20's. The tour of the building itself is fascinating, if you're lucky enough to get one.

If Florida counts as part of the East coast, both Shelton in Ft. Lauderdale and The Collection in Coral Gables are excellent dealerships with professional staffs.

Shelton's Ferrari merchandise section is substantially larger as it is primarily Ferrari specific.

Yopu would be hard pressed to do better than Ferrari of Washington. Super sales staff, exceptinoal service and parts. More of a club atmosphere than a car dealer with many owners and non-owners gathering there on weekends for informal social gab fests.

    FoW, for anything:

    - Major involvement in racing, starting at the top with the owner
    - Ability to service anything - I've had them work on Fcars from 3 different decades
    - Enthusiast sales guys, low key, knowledgeable
    - All the goodies you want - they were able to find a new in the box seat for a 15 year old car

Search for FoW and read the comments.

Wide World of Cars is a great dealership as well, with a decent boutique. They're quite friendly, and they usually have some really neat cars back in the service bay (last visit = 288 GTO, F40 LM, F333 SP, F512M)

did you know the question was asked by a 19 yr?

I just know that they are great guys at algar, and from what I have heard talking to local owners (some on fchat, and some that haven't even heard of the site), they are extremely happy in everyway with algar.

Algar so far has done right by me. They fly under the radar .... obviously they are not a Shelton but the demographics are a lot different. Only neg --the one salesperson (female) bugs me the wrong way big time. Bought my car at FOW overall not bad but I don't think I would rave about them like the other guys posts. Maybe I was the little fish in the big pond. Nobody hits 100 out of a 100 all the time.

I haven't bought any cars or had any service at Ferrari of Atlanta, but I've shopped their fine boutique a few times, and it's all out in the open, so you don't have to ask.

Late each year they have a "sidewalk sale" (but indoors) with some great bargains and free refreshments. Like most F-car dealers they also sell Maserati, but they are also the local Aston Martin dealer, so the boutique also has some neat A-M items.

FOW. The service department guys--Josh, Glenn, Willie, et al. are all top notch. Several of the salesmen are also great to deal with as they are real car guys.

In over 40 years of buying cars Algar consistantly provides me with the best overall dealership experience I've ever had. I've delt with them on evey level, sales, service and parts. To have such honest, concerned, personable and enthusiastic people throughout the organization is a real accomplishment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The amazing thing about this thread is that the comments about dealers are overwhelmingly positive. That speaks volumes about the passion that Ferrari dealers have for their cars.
