Best Deep Red ?

In my history of buying reds, you are right that Fuoco has some orange in it. I don't really see it unless it's under bright sunlight. It's a great red that I have ordered twice. I ordered a car in Magma. Fantastic for reflections coming from curves along lines. A slightly broader red spectrum that Fuoco to me. Shifted a bit in color space.

I have had Rosso F1 2007. It's pretty good but not great enough for me personally to order again compared to the other reds. I had a Rosso Fiorano car and it was a bit too "pinot noir" for my taste. But I could only tell after the car was delivered. I wanted it to be a bit more Rosso Barchetta.

In the future, I will probably pick up a Rosso Barchetta or Rubino for a bigger car since darker reds make the bigger cars look smaller IMO. I have a car coming in Rosso Portofino. I saw it in person and it is great. Others that look fantastic are Maranello and Monza. I have noticed that some of the reds look better on different cars. I am not sure why. Maybe the paint formula was different for a couple of years.

Also, I could never really tell on the online configurator. The dealer's configurator is pretty accurate now. The biggest configurator issue can be the monitor you are using.

The range of colors being offered is fantastic now. IMO I love all of these multi layer paints. Always make the walk to and from the car more exciting.

I love the dark reds, but I'm biased. My 355 was Rosso Fiorano and my F430 is Rosso Rubino Micalizzato:

The configurator is just so bad.. the colors looks completely different in person.
the old configurator (458, F12 etc) was so much better imo
