I'd like to hear some opinions on the subject of who is the all around best driver in F1 right now. I'm talking skills , experience, consistency, drive, and intelligence not ethics:). I'd draw alot of fire on this site to suggest FA but he seems to be the most well rounded of the drivers since the departure of MS. Kimi is great when he's on, but I question his drive. Massa is fast but does not seem to posess skills in traffic consisently. LH is still a bit green and hasn't really been put under serious pressure because as a rookie, little has been expected of him. Opinions please.....

+1, Takuma is the man, but KIMI RAIKKONEN REIGNS SUPREME IN THE LAND OF FORMULA ONE.

I will reluctantly admit it's probably Alonso, with Kimi a close second.

Kimi will be the 2008 WDC, by a large margin. Mark my words.

    1)Kimi Raikkonen, F1 God
2)Lewis Hamilton, could be F1 God if he goes to Ferrari
3)Nico Rosberg (the little guy will be pretty fast when he gets out of the Williams)
4)Alonshole Unfairando, the cheat dirtbag unfortunately made the top 5
    T5)Massa/Heidfeld , very good drivers
T7)Kubica/Kovaleinen , will be very good drivers
    T9)Jarno/Jenson, pretty solid drivers

Yeah i would have to go with Fernando too !!

I use to think Kimi had the most Raw Speed, but this year has made me think otherwise, Massa as shown as much or even more pace.. Massa was demolished by Schumi..
I do think that once / if kimi gets a champ under his belt, he may become a more dominant figure... Alonso became alot more confident (and arrogant) after he got his 1st title.

Lewis its a natural, and has performed like an old hand, but has alot to learn, it will be intresting how he does next year if Alonso leaves the Maccas, Alonso is a great tester...

But the fastest and most complete driver is sitting at home in switzerland (and on the pitwall somtimes) watching the races on TV !!

Kimi F1 God? Why? I'm not challenging anybody's opinion I just see a great driver that's never won a WDC. I'd like to believe he is, after all he was endorsed so heartily by MS. What has held him back while Unfairando seems to crawl ass backward into good fortune?

2003: Almost became WDC if it wasnt for Rubens in Japan.

2005 : Almost became champion if it wasn't for the tire at Nurburgring.

I'd like to see Alonso in last years Mclaren or 2005 Ferrari to make him the best in F-1 today.

But I do support the nomination of Tazio Nuvolari ... makes the modern lads look like spoilt little boys.

The luck that Unfairando has is unreal. If he spins out he's able to so without damage to the car. I don't think he's had a single DNF this year?
