I am searching for the best exhaust system to give me a higher-pitched F1 sound without removing the cats. What do you guys think of Novitec Sport cats, Novitec X-Pipe?
Being that the price isn't much higher for those pieces verses going with an Inconel system from another manufacturer, is that a good move? I also thought about doing the Novitec parts and then adding a Kline Inconel muffler to raise up the pitch a bit since you cant get their sport cats or x-pipe in Inconel. What do you guys think? Thanks

Before you spend all the big money for an " exhaust system " may I suggest you visit your local exhaust shop, have them remove your rear mufflers ( they unbolt ) and create s-pipes that bolt on in their place.
Won't affect emissions, wont turn on a check engine light, no special software needed, and the sound is impressive to say the lease.
If you don't like it, you didn't spend a fortune to try it, but I am betting it will do the trick! Cold starts are something else. Your neighbors may not appreciate, but you will.

I have the Fi-Exhuast system on my 2017 and it sounds fantastic. Ultra hi-flow cats though, so it's super loud. It is also offered with 100 and 200 cell cats, so you could go that route to avoid CEL and emissions issues.

Removing the factorty mufflers sounds like an interesting option to try for cheap as well.

I've installed Fi systems on several cars, and they are very high quality.

I would recommend against going catless.

Unless you like to smell like exhaust everywhere you go... Or backing into the garage or letting it idle. It gets in your clothes big time. Also the cats add some smoothness and when removed the exhaust gets more raspy. If your looking for that smooth f1 Carrera gt LFA silky high pitch... Your going to want to have cats.

High flow cars though are a great idea. I do love high flow cats

My car is a Novitec Package car and has no cats, and it's definitely silky smooth and extremely high pitch. Did you have direct experience with this on your own car? I feel the only way you truly get as close to f1 is removing the cats, but some 200 cel high flows would likely be very similar and remove some of the smell.

No cats definitely smells bad, but the sound is so good! That being said, doing a hi-flow cat isn't a bad idea. I have cars/trucks with everything from stock emmissions to high flow cats to no cats/mufflers. Each have a different intended use though, so it's a personal decision as to what will be best for you.

Admittedly, not sure. If you call Royalty Exotics here in LV, Houston might know. I got my Ryft set through a mutual friend and his garage installed it.

While many people have reservations about the company, the Fabspeed X pipe and 200 cell cats have taken my car to the perfect medium of volume and F1-sound.

The x-pipe definitely helps bring out that F1 high pitched exhaust note. In my opinion there's no need to touch the mufflers on these cars but adding either high flow sport cats or straight pipes will add a lot of volume to the exhaust note without being unbearably loud at low speeds. A lot of our customers do their exhaust upgrades in stages so you are more then welcome to do the same and get that exact sound you are looking for. The high flow 200 cell HJS cats we offer have a guaranteed NO CEL while staying emissions safe so its really just an OEM+ upgrade. No tuning required so no issues with your factory warranty or having to mess with the ECU. Another great upgrade to consider is a valve controller kit especially if you have stock mufflers on the car. The annoying part with Ferrari valved exhaust systems is that majority of them are controlled through the ECU so the valves dont open up until you hit a certain RPM range. The valve controller kits completely bypass the OEM setup and allow for full manual control over the valves (doesn't matter what RPM range or mode you are in). Companies like Forza offer amazing valve controller kits for Ferrari and Lamborghini enthusiasts. They also have a third button on their key fobs so if you ever feel you want to go back to the stock valve settings, you can do so with a simple click of a button.
