18000RPM and headers only. That's how the F1 cars managed it. A street Ferrari can NOT get that high pitch sound.
Closest would be straight pipes with X-pipe and no muffler.

Well if you like it loud as you say...
There was a recent thread about S-line exhausts. Basically straight pipes with X-pipe and no muffler. Should do you nicely.

just pu ton capristo racing for my 430 spyder and love it, not raspy like the other exhausts. Just nice high pitch sound and very pleasent. Not obnoxious loud but loud enough.

Agreed. Perfect balance of sound for road based enthusiastic driving yet not oppressive. I have Mk2 headers but will go Capristo next year

just the exhaust...its not the loudest one out there but it has the best tone without it being overbearing. I went through the same dilemna before i decided to dish out the big bucks for capristo. I looked at fabspeed and sline and all the other setups. At the end of the day I wanted something that is not only reliable but actually has a harmonius melody to it, something i can enjoy at all times at all ranges. I have been very happy with my purchase. I have considered changing the cats or headers at times, but I'm afraid that might mess up the pleasent tone of the car and just make it louder. BTW if you just want loud go with xost leman racing with sport cats...i had that setup on my 360. Never have i heard another ferrari that was louder then my 360.

I have the racing exhaust. Fixed valves, not the "twinsound" version. I believe that's a level 2.

Based on my experience, changing the headers and cats only have proven to make the sounds louder (at least in my car) and it is the end section that seems to change the pitch and tone.

IMO, the X-pipe design of the S-Line exhaust sounds the best, although I haven't heard all of the exhaust out there yet.

Peter

Capristo valve switch did it for me. No need for louder in my opinion and downshifts sounds crisp and loud when valves are on

S-line is the best for the F430… I'm 100% sure you will be happy with it! Big weight loss too :)
