I have no idea of when you asked this question,, but my unequivocal answer is Winter Park. The slopes are great and varied, the people are laid back and its hardly ever crowded.
There a reasonable amount of restaurants and lodging,, a special trip to Devil's Thumb is a must,,the bar / cocktail lounge is , in my opinion, just beyond wonderful

Breck has a very nice town, but Breck and Keystone slopes are boring and the area is too large and repetitious

I just noted that someone suggested Eldora,, I live in Boulder, and i go there for short visits, pls, if you are coming from out of town, don;t consider Eldora, unless you are outright beginners.... i know a bit about skiing ,so ask me if you have some wueastions''Fred

Hmmm...I have skied Eldora with brother who lives there, powder conditions and there are great runs there. Winter park is out of the way. A traveler who can ski a mountain in a day really wants to be in the copper, brec, keystone / vail, beaver creek / aspen, aspen highlands, snomass to get more variety.

Winter Park is the same time / distance from Denver as Copper. Don;t get me wrong, i love Copper, Snowmass and also Beaver Creek..
all the rest are not to my taste
