I thought it would be interesting to compile a list of the best Ferrari (or any car that you love driving) driving roads in each state. It doesn't have to be the most famous stretch of tarmac in your area, it could simply be a road that you enjoy driving every now and then. If you enjoy driving it chances are that other Fchatters will also like driving the road.

List the state and the specific road as well as any special tips to help those interested in driving the road. For example:

    California: Angeles Crest Highway

North Carolina: Rt 129 a/k/a The Tail of the Dragon - tailofthedragon.com/details

Minnesota: Highway 61 from Duluth to the Canadian Border, along the north shore of Lake Superior.

Continuing the Lake Superior Circle Tour through parts of Ontario, Canada, through the Upper Penninsula of Michigan, through Wisconsin back to Duluth is also a great trip.

Arizona. Coronado Trail Scenic Byway (formerly Route 666 - the Devil's Highway): 120 miles, ~1,000 curves. Sweepers and hairpins. Gorgeous alpine forests, sheer cliffs, drop dead scenery. A drop in elevation from 8,500 feet to 2,500 feet from Alpine to Clifton. Big bonus ... generally not too much traffic.

I've often thought of turning this idea into a coffee table book geared towards exotic car enthusiasts. Instead, I just started this thead. HAHA

I will write a great article for your magazine on the subject. I will, however, require the use of a company car - a 488 will do nicely - and a gas card to perform some research.

Highway 42 from Weirsdale to Deland has a few curves. Best I've found in central Florida so far, but it isn't much, lol.

I respectfully disagree and nominate highway 12 between Lolo and Kooskia. I still consider that the best driving road in all of the United States. When you first get on the road in Lolo there a sign that says "Winding road next 99 miles". All recently paved roads with basically no traffic because theres a newer straiter highway most people take. If you look at it on google maps you'll see what I mean.

There are definitely great roads in Colorado just a short driving season. Even then snow on some roads may happen at any time of year. I miss the mountains roads!

That's a good road for sure, but if I can find the video and get it to load, you will see what happens on the Bear Tooth when they block off the highway both ways, and let Risi loose with an F40.

Highway 267 between 20 and I-10 southwest of Tallahassee is pretty entertaining but not very long.
