Thought this might be an interesting, what do you consider to be the best Ferrari(subjective opinion of course) in the relevent decade, lets exclude the 1940's as Ferrari was only founded in 1947(yes I do know about the Auto Avio).

There are no restrictions, so race cars can be included. As for my list, well I am still thinking about it...here is part of it

2000s: 599 GTB Fiorano: a true successor to the 365 GTB/4, massively fast be it on the road or the track but docile and so driveable around the city, cruises at 240 km/h like its 100km/h, quite when it needs to be but that V12 is never truly quiet...a future classic.(extremely tought to leave out cars like the Enzo and 360cs and 430scud)

1990's: Jointly(cheating a bit here I know) F50 and 355F1, the former proved Ferrari could build an F1 for the road using an F1 engine, the latter again brought F1 technology to the road of Florida(sorry guys) and to me the 355 is one of the most beautiful Ferraris ever made.

1980's: F40- the last gift from Enzo himself...a truly iconic car, gorgeous to look at and apparently a thrilling drive.

Still thinking about the 70s, 60s, and 50,s.....

The rest of my fragmented list.

1950's: 1957 so called pontoon body Testa Rossa....

1960s: 330 P4: surely one of the most beautiful cars of all time, havent ever heard one but would imagine it must sound much like a 250LM and thats pure magic to hear, so the P4 has a lot going for it: jaw dropping looks and V12 sound.

1970's: 365 BB, unsual choice but the birth of the mighty flat 12, the motor that powered mty countryman Shecketer to the title in 1979...the 365 for me being the purest of all the flat 12 derivatives

    What a nice idea...

    Here's my 2 cent:

    1940's: 166MM
    50's: 250 Testa Rossa
    60's: Tie between 250GTO and 330P4
    70's: 365 GTB-4 Daytona
    80's: F40
    90's: 550 Maranello
00's: Jim's P4-5... Too bad there's only one because that's what the Enzo should have been...

    Have a look at these:

    40's - 166 Mille Miglia - red
    50's - 250 GT SWB - silver/ blue
    60's - 275 GTB - silver or blue
    70's - 365 GTB daytona - black
    80's - 288 GTO - red
    90's - 355 - titanium
    00's - Enzo - azurro

Best to me means what would I most like to see in my garage from each decade.

    Virtually the most accurate listing...

Although the Enzo cant be the best of this era, just because of how foul it looks.... only leaves the 599GTB (which imo IS better just because it shares the same motor, yet feels more inviting and pleasent. subjective anyway
