    I see two brands,,,,Carrera and Scaleextric. Both seem that they use "digital" technology. Scaleextric seems to be a little more advance...but cost twice as much. So, which is the best to buy???

    I didn't buy HO, but was shopping for the larger 1/32 scale a few years ago. I wound up buy Scalextric as it seemed that they had more accessories and add ons than the Carrera. I now also own a Carrera set that's smaller than the 1/32, but larger than HO, could be a 1/43.. That's what happens when your 2 kids are boys.
