Acquiring a stock 360, with upgraded TCU but not the 211… series, what are some of the better initial things I can do to get some more power? ECU, exhaust, intake? Budgeting ~$7k , any highly recommended brand names would help too thanks!!

AV Engineering CS tune should be step one. They can also tune for a sport exhaust and delete your immobilizer.

Tune from trev360 the best thing I have done. 16 months and not 1 problem. ( I just jinked my car). The list goes on but yes that is step 1 in my books.

Headers (cause they're crap), exhaust, and a tune. You can do a cs intake, airboxes and filters too if you want. That's about all the bolt-on power stuff you can do, don't expect a powerhouse of a motor though, it's still tiny.

If you’re going to do a rune, go all the way and upgrade to carbon CS size intakes and CS/430 MAF sensors.

MAF sensors can be had for $150/ea from Summit Racing (just be prepared to wait. 3 months for delivery) and RTuned for the new air boxes.

Exhaust- Then leave it the hell alone- Turns out Ferrari is kinda good at designing and building cars.

Only available via secret hand shake :) PM me if you want some info. But when Trev tuned my 360 here are the things I did to make sure it was running well first:

    Spark Plugs (maybe coil packs)
    Air Filter
    New MAF's
Headers (depending on what MY 360 and is it US spec or Euro?)
    Hi-flow CATS

And this will make a big difference but it is labor intensive (maybe do it at the belt service):
    https://aldousvoice.com/2016/04/24/ferrari-360-engine-timing/
Many places that service the belt won't bother to check the timing - they simply lock everything in place and swap the belt.

One of the better mods is swap ashtray for a cup holder- the car won’t go faster/better/stronger but makes it more livable.

Do any mods before the tune. Get the valve timing dialed in first too.

Headers, test pipes / high flow cats, exhaust, tune.

Will sound amazing, and you’ll get maybe 30whp throughout the power band.

curious on why delete the immobilizer? is it a part that is prone to go bad? I am currently getting extra key fobs from specialized ECU repair since I only had the red (Master) remote when I got my 360, thanks

You can search on here and find posts related to immobilizer problems, especially as these cars age. I’m also not worried about anyone stealing my car so I decided to have it done.

+1 on trev's tune, I would do that first and it's an easy DIY. Second would be challenge front and rear grills if you don't already have them. Third would be a tubi or capristo muffler (I would leave the rest of the exhaust alone).

Honestly after that I would just stick to keeping it stock and making sure everything is dialed in and properly maintained. It's a glorious machine in it's natural state. I have aftermarket rims on my car now and I can't wait to get the starfishies out of my garage and on the car after they are powder coated shiny black to match the car...

obviously that advice would change if you have a car with precats as you would want to remove those headers and go aftermarket, but that will affect how you tune the ecus...

Remember to do your power mods before the tune to ensure it’s best optimized.
