Best jogging sneakers

I just got a pair of Skechers Run about a month ago. No regrets. Super comfortable, light and nice to run in.

No need to actually go barefoot but a fancy shoe with a high cushioned heel is unnecessary. Any comfy low heel running shoe will do. I quit spending over $40 on shoes years ago. The $100 barefoot/minimalist shoes are a unnecessary gimmick as well.

Get fitted and try a few. You won't notice some of the small things but they have a big impact. I ran saucony, my gf brooks (which I own now) and have a good friends who swears by ASIC gel nimbus and he has run over a dozen marathons.

It depends on how much you run really. I used to buy previous years which do me fine but I spoiled myself a bit this year. If you are talking about 6 miles plus normally I would not be cheating out as much if I ran 3 miles a couple times a week.
