Best leads for a carb 308

Any advice on the best leads to use, has anyone else had problems with copper leads?

 

I use stock wire sets.....with the extenders.

 

What do you mean best leads?

I think he means spark plug wires, going from the mention of 'copper'...

But as an electrician when someone says copper I think wire, the only other use of copper in a 308 is the crush washers in the oil pans!

Thanks BigTex I think MSD has a good set.

 

Any good wire set will work fine - Accel, mallory, etc, etc. 8mm wires will be difficult but not impossible to fit in the caps and stock looms but 7mm are stock on a carb 308. A set of hemi wires are usually the longest and will give you all the length you need to run and fit them.
